Hi just returned from paelo on 14/6/10 it was my first visit, there were 4 of us in our 50s lovely place but nothing to do at night, ok a few bars a few good eating places but everything was few and far between everything was up & down steps to the beach was a drag 72 up & down the grotta bar? 142 not my idea of heaven, we eat a few times at the belvedere what a great place but as we were told by the owner paelo is a great place to visit but not to stay, make him right. wont be going back

Just returned from yet another wonderful stay at Aphrodite Apartments with hosts Magda, Statis, Elizabeth & Adonis. Anyone looking for a taste of paradise - this is it! Thank you all for a fab 2 weeks & hi to Arawal & Hazel if you read this blog. Looking forward to next year already ! Love to all Carole & Keith xx

just back from paleo this morning. We stayed at Marias Sudios and agree with everything written, Clean, fab management, and great food. Katerina is a diamond, nothing is too much trouble, and Yiannis says hes a greeek god...ok Yannis.. I bow to your greater knowledge..lol. Couple of days crap weather but hey we could cope with that. Fab time all round.. Thanks again ~!!!

76 days to go until my next visit. It's difficult this year to raise the cash with the credit crunch  but it has to be done. As you turn that corner just at the start of the resort, see the sea and Monkey Rock everything else is forgotten apart from the beauty of the place. I stay at the Odysseus Hotel which I love and I also spend time at the Belvedere. Over the years we have have all made great friendships that far outway any credit crunch and the related problems.

I have secured my Easyjet flights for September 2010. I will be returning to Kiki Apartments and I shall look forward to seeing George and Athina .
Their hospitality is highly recommended.

Well I was just looking at the photos of Paleo, Oh how Im longing to go back.
The last time I wrote on here was 27 days before we went, well what a surprise.
Was very sad to see the closure of Hotel Oceanis and also closure of the many little shops and supermarkets.
Paleo is still the most beautiful place in the world and my kids were so jealous when we got back to see the photos.
We stayed at the Maria Studios, this is the best place we have stayed. The room, the food, the hospitality of Yiannis, Katerina, Bob, Janice and Yiannis parents was second to none. Its the best weeks holiday I have ever had even though this is my 3rd visit to Paleo. We will be definatly going back no doubt, when weve got enough cash cos the kids want to come back. I would say stay at the Maria Studios and book direct and get your own flight. There is too much of these tour operators going bankrupt and leaving holidaymakers very unhappy. Maria Studios have their own website so book direct if you can. Miss everyone in Paleo and cant wait to come back home

hej ja tez byłam w paleo i pracowałam w oasis taverna.chciałanym tam jeszcze wrocić,było wspaniale.pozdrawiam cała rodzinę u której pracowałam.moze kiedys się jeszcze kiedyś zobaczymy.

I am sorry to say that T.O's seem to want to abandon Paleo and move guests to where it is more profitable for them. Many locations were built to supply the T.O's needs and now they are being dumped.
My advice is to go independant and leave the T.O's to lick their wounds.

Hey all,
I have been home from Paleo for about a month and I am still missing it! I worked there during the summer in the Oasis Taverna, it was the best experience I have ever had! Giorgia, Spiros and family are now my adopetd family! Fab people who really looked after me! You dont realise how good it is until you come home, you take the beautiful resort for granted! Absolutley love paleo and I have made many friends in the resort, I hope to return next year!
