    Welcome to the forum JOANIE, it is nice to see a regular visitor to Corfu to show an interest in Paleokastritsa. It is a fantastic resort with many faces. It is stretched along the main coast road and LITTERED with everything a laid back tourist could need.  There is a vast range of eating places, lots of watering holes,shops of all types and supermarkets. I am sure that you will enjoy your stay in August.     If you have any more questions about the resort just make a post.
