Paleokastritsa includes 6 beautiful small beaches with crystal turquoise water and the famous Lagtotta Bay.
All of them are special and each one has a unique characteristic and is well worth of visiting all of them. In most of the beaches there are water sports & boat trips facilities.

Agios Spyridon (Coverage : 100 % Sand)
Agios Spyridon is, the most famous beach in Paleokastritsa, the most crowdie of all, the biggest, and for some the most beautiful one. At the right corner of the beach there is the center of the taxi boats in Paleokastritsa and at the back there is a big parking area. At the left side of the beach it is more quite and relaxed where you can also find some excellent spots for food & Drinks. Agios Spyridon is also the only beach in Paleokastritsa covered only by sand.
Agia Triada (Coverage : 50 % Sand & 50 % Shingle)
Agia Triada is the first beach that you find when you get in Paleokastritsa. It used to be the biggest one but nowadays the half of the beach has been covered from water.
It is surrounded by green hillsides giving unique scenery when you watch the beach from above.
Platakia (Coverage : 5 % Sand & 95 % Shingle)
Platakia is covered mostly by shingle and is the ideal place for the warm days of the summer as the hillsides at the back of the beach shade the beach from early hours.
It is also quite and peaceful and all the around area is ideal for fishing.
Ampelaki (Coverage : 70 % Sand & 30 % Shingle)
Ampelaki is the last beach of Paleokastritsa and the quietest one.
The beach is accessible only by foot. On the right corner of the beach is located the Diving center of Barracuda making Ampelaki an ideal place for diving.
Alipa (Coverage : 70 % Sand & 30 % Shingle)
The beach is located on the inner part of Alipa port.
Despite the fact that the beach is surrounded by the port the water is clean & clear. Is one of the quiet places to be and less busy.
Agios Petros (Coverage : 40% Sand & 60% Shingle)
Agios-Petros is a small beach covered mostly by shingle at the back of Paleokastritsas main parking just below the famous Monastery of Theotokos.
It has the less water sports and boat trips facilities and is the ideal place for families and couples.
Lagrotta ( Coverage : 100 % Rocks)
Lagrotta is one of the most famous places to visit in Paleokastritsa. It is located in a gap surrounded by steep hillsides.
The access can be a problem as there many steps to reach down in the sea. Also it has the coldest water of all the around area as it is mostly shaded but is a great spot for diving and headers from the mountains above.
